Hello we wreck 81837s only,

The use of noname was in trying to have you reveal if you are the mystery driver of the famous Noname Monaro back in the early 1980s. I have reason to believe that you were into that scene back then and am curious to learn your identity as you are obviously a very knowledgeable muscle car owner/enthusiast.

From one true enthusiast to another,
Ben Stewart.

Hey Warren you cant read you & Bens book back to front or front to back for that matter, You can only read it front to the middle or the back to the middle. eh. Oh wait a minute did you and Ben ever decide which is the front and which is the back, it is important you know when you start talking about reading books back to front. Does back to front mean from one cover to the other cover or does back to front mean the wrong way around back to front. Because you know if you and Ben never decided if there was a back and a front to your book anyone that reads all that book will never able to claim they have read it back to front or front to back. Anyway you dont read books back to front, its front to back. But if you wanted to read your book back to front, that is the wrong way around back to front, you would be reading it middle to the front or maybe even back to the middle. But unless You and Ben decided which is the front and back we will all remain confused. Dont start telling me I dont know what I am talking about because Ive read my copy every page and I reckon you and Ben did a wonderful Job, all the specifications and details absolutely spot on untill I got to around the middle of the book.Well Warren ,Ben I think you got the first half right, but the second half I dont know what you were on ,but the story, the facts you got it all wrong its back to front upside down or something. Look I wouldnt think about doing a reprint. Well I dont think you will find a printer these days who can print upside down or back to front anyway. Sorry I better get off this computer Im getting confused....Dont worry Warren , Ben its still the bible dont matter which way you look at it.......all the best regards ..Jack

Hello we wreck 81837s only,

The use of noname was in trying to have you reveal if you are the mystery driver of the famous Noname Monaro back in the early 1980s. I have reason to believe that you were into that scene back then and am curious to learn your identity as you are obviously a very knowledgeable muscle car owner/enthusiast.

ben,
hmmm, when you say "noname" monaro, what model was the car? i think i know which car you are talking about, but it was not me. i had a black coupe with a bit of mica metallic(VR-S color)car that had numerous eng/tran combos in it that now is still around somewhere i believe.
there was many, many monaros around in the early 80s through even to the late 90s, and when i was a kid(mid to late 70s), i used to sit in awe in front of super plus on my push bike watching the likes of the late andrew rowe(in his Big block HK), hans van dyk and paul rodgers and co and many others run up and down bennet st and they all had monaros, and all the cars had either very stout and tuff small blocks or LS7s in them, i was immediately hooked on the modified type of monaro, back then you just didnt have an original monaro then, you were a nerd if you did, you threw away valve covers, air cleaners and put pipes, moroso covers and tunnel ram and cut a hole in the hood straight away.
i can rattle off just about every tuff street and race car monaro that lived on the streets or on the track, and about 10 yrs ago we tracked down the old owners and tried to find the wherabouts of these cars and surprisingly we were able to find out what happened to most of the cars, but sadly, most cars have been destroyed, and most were 350 coupes as they were plentiful back then and they had everything the boy racer wanted at the time, a SBC, manual and coupe, just waiting to be hot rodded.
back then it was much more enjoyable and we had more fun with cars, and thats something that i feel has been lost now due to everyone worrying about correct vinyl grain and spring washers on steering mounting plate bolts, but each to there own, and i have nothing but respect for the restorer even though i am not one.
i help alot of people with there restos now,i source some bits for them, tell them about whos go for body, who can trim etc and get more enjoyment from admiring the work they have done and take my hat of to the work and battles that goes into some of the restos.
so ben, im still into the scene but in a different way now!
