Hi Team

Can anyone fill me in on some history of this piece.

Seems someone has been manufacturing them in the past and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them??

Cheers

Jeremy

Do not get rid of it. I know it looks rough. But I had one of these on my car and i changed it over to the original type ones. The guys at Pedders said that it the one you have is a hell of a lot stonger and is a lot better than the original. They said that the historic racing guys use them because they are so much better. He said the company that was making them does not make them any more, so they are worth hanging on to.

Dunno how much truth there is in it.

But I still have mine and I have not seen another one.

Anyone else know anything?/

I am sure that part was made by a company called futura or fontura? I had one made for my WB they are 100 times better than stock type last for years the company does not make them any more because they lasted to long and not enough sales that was what I was told when I tryed to get another one They were a QLD company I think Hang on to it

Jeremy Morning, I think the company is Fortuna Engineering of Beaudesert Rd Coopers Plains Brisbane. They used to do stuff like bend truck axles to the correct wheel alignment specs. Actually they used to bend Landcruier axles for us because we could not fit camber kits if they were under warranty.oily

Yes I know the recent history... I took it off your car about a month ago 8-)

Sorry I couldnt resist.

Vandals and graffiti "artists" do everyone a favour and target parking meters and fixed speed cameras only.

This one isnt mine Jim

It was on eBay and went for $50...

You certainly removed a very similar one though.

Its still in Sydney with Terry.

I thought the one I had was home made, but when I looked closely it was really well engineered.

Now I know!!!

Cheers

Jeremy
