Probably even rarer than a HQ LS 350. But so is a 308 4spd Belmont wagon.

Yes but the ad is a bit misleading, Max Wilson had an HQ from 71 to 74 then 3 LSs between 74 and 76. Leo Built cars for these guys all the time, GM-H had a policy of turning over its fleet, and I am sure there are more, 4 cars are known of that is all.

A few other slight incorrect things in the ad. But a VERY NICE example of these cars that Leo put together.

I would love to see the car in the flesh, just wonder why no engine number supplied.

How does he know its the #1 from Melboune? They werent numbered like Pagewood or Elizabeth. #1 GTS or #1 GTS350 coupe? Or #1 GTS sedan (XV4 or XW8)?

Just to clarify things a bit; that HQ in Townsville is the first 81837 from Melbourne. Plenty of other coupes rolled off the line prior to this one.
