My sle originally had a 202 & trimatic, it now has a
a 308 and turbo 400. There was an orange single wire that
is part of the loom and was for the inhibitor it ran to a single plug on the right hand side of the trimatic.
The plug on the turbo is on the opposite side and has
a twin plug. Obviously I have a problem since
I only have one wire to connect!

Can anyone shed ny light on this???

Hi Mr Sle.

The single orange wire you are talking about is not for the inhibitor, the inhibitor switch is on the shifter under the console.

The single orange wire is for the kickdown solenoid. If you have the later TH400 with the 2 pin plug, one pin
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
