500-600kg as a guess. Use and A-frame to lift the cabin end, the rear will be light. Engine crane will work too.

i used a engine crane to lift a panelvan body (stripped bare) off the chassis, not something id do again as it was pushing the limits of what the crane was designed to do, and it was really wobbly, i also had a few scary moments too!
i under estamated how damn high you need to lift the body to get it off too, you will need atleast 1m lift to make the body clear the chassis
and to add to the crazyness i did it by myself too!

best way to do it is get 7 small guys and a case of beer....6 to lift and 1 to roll the chassis out and then drink the beer while looking at your efforts....or 4 big guys and 1 small guy and 2 cases of beer...then same as above.. going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |

nah, i reckon we should get the producers of the biggest loser to include this sort of task into the show..and add a bit of excitement to it here and there with some challenges such as leaving doors for extra weight on it for the largest couples etc..hahha "Reputations are made and broken as soon as you enter or leave my shed.."
