HI all another colour question. HQ Monaro fuel tank ,its gal at the moment but should it be black Thanks Ron

Leave it gal, or get it zinc plated for that new look. I dont think they were black.

Ron, all the original unmucked with cars I have looked at had a galvanised finish on the tank. Mind you, some examples where it appears to be a case of trying to hide the tank where it hangs down into view had black paint partly covering the rear section of the tank. Im with Andy here on the finish.
