Agree 100%. A 2 pak paint applied correctly and then rubbed back like an acrylic looks exactly like acrylic. We should compare cars at the Nationals if you are going. I have also seen acrylic finishes that look like your regular 2 pack off the gun finish.
exactly right and also people stear away from 2 pak cause its harder to fix any problems and also the breathing issue, but if your paint the car at home to me acrylic is the way to go.not that i dont like 2 pak its just a booth painting paint,in saying that thou you spend weeks, months preparing your car why not spend a $200 buy a booth for the day (i would if useing 2 pak )

DA, The HG, family an I will be at the nationals. Very much looking forward to it, more so for the social aspect than the judging side of things.
Plus one of the world longest drives to the event!

I used 2 pac on my car, it is great but the negative ive found is it chips easy beacause it is so hard and brittle. I dont think I will use it again. Painters love and recommend it because it looks great off the gun and there is no hard work buffing it. Cheers, Pete. Old Holdens never die, they just go faster.
