Hey Guys,

Replaced the alternator on a 186 for a bosch out of a vt commodore.
Of course the wiring is different could anyone tell me the best way to connect it.

There is the main terminal - to battery
D+ - ?
and the two smaller terminals on the black box on the back - ?

Any help would be great
Thanks Relic

The large terminal (the stud & nut) is the usual charge wire.

On the back of the reg is a 2 pin plug - brown wire goes to the battery light, white wire is voltage sense (goes to the battery).

Mick
