Can anyone tell me who might be the best place to buy new door rubbers for my EH sedan.I have read that the Rare Spares version has had some problems with the clips. Any help would be appreciated

There were a batch of grey clips that were made of a more brittle plastic and they were breaking in some spots where the rubber was forced sideways a bit. I had broken grey ones replaced free of charge. The white clips are the good ones. I have some white ones fitted from 1993 that are still good never broken.

Hi,HARRISONS EARLY HOLDEN & FORD SPARES have been making there own high quality door & boot seals for many years now.The rubber is made out of a nice soft compound rubber,so you dont have to slam the doors for 6 months or so,until they settle in.The clips used are different to most others, our clips are a full circle clip, made out of new materials that wont break, not flat spade clips made out of recycled nylon, that wont last or stay in the door plugs as they should. Our door plugs have been redesigned with groves inside to work better with our clips. We specialise in the ej - eh models, thats where our business started over 22 years ago,as EH Holden World. Correct ej - eh outer door belt weather strips are being made now. An eh club member kindly loaned me new genuine ones to copy. No one has made these correctly yet.Ours will be exact copies of original with the flared out ends, made from better quality rubber than factory (epdm rubber) & better quality clips that will spring back out when fitted. We are expecting samples around the end of June, once approved stock will only be a few weeks away. Were taking orders for these now. We have many new & exclusive parts made or being made for these models. EJ - EH firewall insulation kits are now in stock, exact copies of original, made with the correct heat & moisture resistant board. We are expecting many new parts to start arriving from May,new metal front guards, ej & eh bonnets, front stonetrays, bumpers, doorskins, doorshells, sills, just to name a few. For a complete list of new parts made or being made, feel free to give me a call or email me for a list, cheers, Paul.
