Hi folks

Holden quote the power of the new ecotec engine in the sedans as 190kw and 170kw in the Crewman.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two engines. I thought it was the same.

Hi Mark h.

There are 2 different spec V6 engines in the VZ.

The lower spec has variable intake camshaft timing & develops 175 kW. The higher spec has variable camshaft timing for both intake & exhaust, & also variable length intake manifold & it dev
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks for the info. I thought it might have been something simple like ECU parameters or sports exhaust.
