i have just bought a starter motor off a bloke on ebay for my hz 253 red 4 speed man, once fitted it doesnt meet up with the fly wheel it "looks" identical in every way i can't see why it doesn't work any help will save me 60 bucks

it could be off a commodore
try taking off the inspection plate and refitting it, the nose cone on the commodore starters is slightly different, if it fits and works youll just have to trim the inspection plate a little to make it fit
