hey lads,just got a clean as hg coupe.i know plates will show nothing great but any info you all can give would be great,

i know this is not the motor for the coupe but any thing you can explain about both the id plates for the coupe and this engine no would be great.
also what was the last month build date of the hg coupe.

The Monaro is a Monaro coupe, 6 cylinder auto from Brisbane, Kashmire white with black trim.
The engine is from a Brisbane made vehicle, around 4/69.
Last one that I know of was 4/71, but I am sure there maybe a few after this one.

There are two numbers missing off the 307 number after the K. Apart from that basically as Warren says.
The last HG coupes were actually sold as Chev SS in South Africa, as late as 1973 from memory.
