If all hk guards had the slotted or D shaped drain hole and ht/g had the round hole were all gmh replacment spare parts ones hk type or were there difference part numbers for each? I just seem to see a lot D ones on ht's. Dave

I think you've got it ass about. Round hole is HK and was superceded so any replacements would be open slot (D)

As above. HK round, HT/G no hole but a big slot. Replacement stuff was all HT/G style, as you find many replacement bonnets were all HG type.

Didn't know that HG bonnets were different. What are the differences?

The underskin is different, HK has no holes for badges, HT have holes for HOLDEN lettering in the front centre and HG has two cutouts on front passenger's side for designation badge.

Early HT's still had the round hole also .
My van is an October/November 69 build car with all its original panels and it has the round hole guards , as i have seen on other Esrly HT cars also.

3 x holes/slots on HG bonnet Warren, not 2. I've found heaps of these on HK's over the years. Obviously replaced in minor front enders in the early 70's when you could still buy them new (as HG bonnets).
