hi all i have a problem i tried to get my steering wheel off yesterday to realign it and it didnt let go i just herd something plastic break!!!! Now the wheel is a bit lose but still holding tight. Does anyone know what i broke and how to fix and how to get the wheel off. Cheers Chris......

depending on how you were trying to remove the wheel.....chances are the centre shaft has let loose and it has broken the centre bearing retainer which is part of the blinker switch assembly..there is a coupkle of things to break but what i have described is the most common..to remove the wheel go and buy a puller set..most tool shops have a generic do all arrangement that will work. going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |

Cheers for that got a harmonic puller on the way home,got the wheel off and your right its the bearing retainer. Looks like someone has attempted to fix it before amazing it lasted this long. Does anyone know if you can get replacements or is it an ebay job?
