Hi , we are looking at redoing classes and judging for our NZ Holden bi-anual national show , I am told aussy have a points system to determine if a car is orig or modified ? This is what we need to put cars in the correct class for judging , any help would be great ! Thanks Mark.

First you ned to think about how many classes you should have and what each class is for.

Common classes are:

Stock, for car that apear not to be modified
Mild custom, for those with a few minor creature comforts
Modified, for those with major mods but still considered to be drivers
Show, for the serious customiser

Then all you have to do is draw up a list of modifications that are allowed in each class. You willalso ned to define stock class. Some camps allow seatbelts and disc brakes on very early holdens without taking them out of stock, others would have these placing them into modified.
