I'm currently building a 355 stroker and eventually down the track i want to supercharge it (6/71 roots style). I want to build the engine now and make it N/A until i can afford a supercharger. Around what power is it possible to make running a 355 with a mild blower cam, running around 8.5-1 comp (this is the N/A set-up id have before i end up blowing it).
Is this worth while??
The other option is to just do a normal stroker N/A engine with mild cam and flat top pistons(10.5-1 comp) and then do a rebuild changing to a dish piston and blower cam when i can aford the blower. I understand that this way is going to be more expensive but i'd be getting more power out of the engine while it wasn't blown.
Thoughts??

I would chuck in a good running 308,and build the other one right the first time, then sell off the 308...just my thoughts.
