i bought an 02 ford escape at auction it has theftavert sticker on window. the theft light is blinking in dash and will not start.does anyone know how to reset this condition? i bought a new remote and programed it, doors lock and unlock but theft light keeps blinking.help Mac

what model is it?I live in the usa don't know if programings the same but will get the info for you.is it the orignal ignition key?new fords here transmit a frequecy.
