what posts have gone missing?

PFFFTTT, i dunno why, but it seems that some posts go off automatically overnight, wonder why and who does it???

please explain why they get deleted?

Yeah I found the deletion of my post on the radios a little strange too.
Really enjoying this site, even the picture uploader itch. In my email it's showing I have 26 unread messages but only 4 are highlighted from this site??? Oh big brother we worship thee?? Would'nt the administrators inform us if a blog contains in-appropriate material?

there even locking your threads on you now frank, what did you do to upset the mod squad?

OK I'll explain.

A good number of members have been writing to the Administrators of this site complaining that they have better things to do with their time than read through threads full of waffle that have gone way off topic and this is ruining Fastlane. Two names in are all too regularly used in these complaints "We Wreck 81837's only" and the now banned "itch/HT350".

The solution by the admin team is to instantly delete this crap until it calms down a bit. We could explain every time we delete a post but we too have better things to do with our time than write explanations for the bleeding obvious.

So there you have your answer nothing sinister or bandwidth related.

I agree Greg but of late it has gotten out of hand. A bit of harmless fun is OK but it can go a bit far.

Very unpleasant to find what you sat, had a little thought about. And decided to put out there for basically the whole world to see, deleted.
This is the pub, in this pub smoking is allowed, get as pissed as you like without anyone being able to kick you out. Why you can even smack your kids on the arse in here. Smack your wife? whatever turns you on fella!
We used to be able to graffiti the walls within reason of course. With whatever words and pictures we liked. Kinda took us back to that favourite classroom we had where we decorated the walls.
I just don't recall the administrators coming in to pull down my awesome drawing of an undersea world complete with a shark eating two scuba divers. Awesomely inspiring stuff you know.
this forum is as much about cars as it is somewhere guys and dolls can come and vent their interests,thoughts and generally catch up with their old and sometimes new mates. And NOT get picked up for DUI,locked up for swearing or end up like one of the hundreds every week beaten to a pulp by some drunken teenagers.
Please stop deleting our posts. It's messing with the fabric of what could well be the last frontier in old world Australian way of life.
