Did the HG 350 Auto have 'the bend' in the accelerator rod?
I have seen several photos of 'unrestored' auto 350s and they all do, but there are those out there that suggest that it should be straight.
I have seen HG Autos with Aussie V8 in magazines that have straight rods.

Hi John , i just confirmed in the parts book after we spoke that Part number 2809873 does all 350. As my old Survivor HG 350 in the photos shows it to have the "manual" type. Theoretically you would have thought there would be a difference as the auto does not require the "hump " for the clutch cylinder bottle hence why people are arguing with you . But Logic took over at Holden back then and they must have decided not to change them for the low production numbers. So the answer is Auto and Manual are the same John, they both get the Manual Type . www.monaromuscleparts.comEdited by user Tuesday, 10 August 2010 2:15:53 AM(UTC)

Cheers James. And I had a feeling that straight v bent would bring out a few off subject comments!

Off subject comment #1...
When I was 30 and got an erection, I couldn't bend it with both hands. When I was 50, I could bend it about 10 degrees if I tried really hard. By the time I was 60, I could bend it about 20 degrees, no problem. I'm gonna be 80 soon, and now I can bend it in half with just one hand.
"So, what's the point?"
Well, I'm just wondering how much stronger I'm gonna get!
