Gday.
Love this site and have been reading up on the posts about the hq clocks but none seem to answer my question. My clock works but it is exactly 30 seconds fast! It looks to have the original resistor in it also.
I have tried using the slow - fast screw but it does nothing. I have even tightened the staff wheel but it does not do anything.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem to this. What did you do to remedy it?
Thanks alot,
Matt

Basically if it runs at all ~ you are doing well. At 30 secs fast, I'd put up with it.
To use a well quote "I used to complain about my sore feet until I met a man with none !"
Be Happy and enjoy...Cheers John

All i can suggest is to change out the resistor and see how it goes ( it may be letting to much current through, hence it runs fast ). These are a 6 cent item from your local Dick smith store. It only takes about five mins with a soldering iron to change.
