I assumed that if I removed the rear springs from an XB/XC sedan they would fit straight under an XB coupe. They do but the ride height is much higher and the shackles are leaning way forward.
Anyone got any thoughts? I thought all spring mounting points on the UTE COUPE and Fairlane LTD where the same distance apart.

are there any colorings on your old springs?
it may just be the difference between lowered springs and raised springs etc

Coupes use sedan springs. Ute, wagon, fairlane and panelvan rear springs are longer.

No marking on the springs at all
These must have been reset at some stage if what you say is correct and sedan and coupe are interchangeable Thanks
