hi i have a 2002 monaro which for no reason at all and worse very random will not start.it does exactly the same thing with the spare key as well.problem;you can lock/unlock the car with either key but when you go to start there is no instrumentation lights and no ignition,however the cd/radio works.great if you have a lot of patience or a gr8 cd but get nowhere.it can (on it's own take between 20 secs up to 20 mins without doing anything then starts)have asked my local dealership about this problem but obviousley is too technical for them as they said to just ask around.hope someone may be able to help

My guess is that the BCM Is crook. Get somebody to check it out or give me a ring.
