my steering coloumn in my pops out about 2/3 inches when pulled on. Only started doing it recently. from the base section. if anyone has any experience with this??

The top bearing (inside the "coffee cup") has let go, or the nylon shear pin in the shaft has broken (which is supposed to break to let the coumn collapse in a prang) |
