Gday just wondering if anyone can help....i have an xt-xr sedan with a vin on the shock tower but no numbers on rad support or id plate...!!!!

Is it possible to work out what the body prefix no. serial no.is from this????
Do the letters and numbers on the shock tower correspond with prefix no.???

i believe the shock tower no. is the same as the engine no.on the original motor???
the code i have goes something like this......GD3---8C....

The body has holes for trim around the rear pillar and badge holes,there are interior lights mounted in the rear pillars also..?????

Any help would be great....im confused..thanks Dan
