G'day All,

Could somebody tell me how to get the sender unit out of the fuel tank, as it looks to me like you cant turn the lock ring without either a special tool or without destroying it and replacing it with a new one, any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

flat head screwdriver and a hammer...hit the lock ring anti clockwise...ive been doin it that way for 20+ years and havent killed any yet...
