Hi everyone,
I am doing a bit of research on behalf of my Dad who has a '69 HT GTS Monaro. Is there any way to search for the build date? He knows where is was made, model, spec level, etc, but is very keen on finding out the date (or as close to as possible)it was built.
I was reading about the Monaro register, but could not contact the website which it was on. I was hoping that that could give me some insight.. Is there any way to access this data?
If anyone can give me any info, it would be very much appreciated!

There should be a date stamp on the steering box (bottom left as you look at it) Also there is another date code further up the steering column on the fire wall.

Thanks for that, first we have heard of that. We found 2J9 stamped on the bottom left corner of the steering box, does this have any significance?

The steering box was built on 2/9/69, so the car will probably be around October 1969 give or take. Email me the car's data and i'll get an answer for you from the Holden Monaro Register (Ben Stewart) which will be a much closer buld date estimate.
