Hi I am in the uk looking to import a crewman or cross 8 over here but am wary of the reports on fuel economy of these two has anyone put one on gas and if so what is the difference in $perKM etc?

Hi dean.

The V8s are a bit thirsty around town, after all they do weight 2 tonne & use 3.46 final drives behind a 5.7 litre V8, but for all that they are better than V8s of old.

The V6 versions are a lot more economical & there is now a Crewman Cros
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

I would not be too hasty to import a crewman, I have had 3 new diffs in mine and the latest one still clonks and rumbles but Holden say there is nothing wrong????
With regard to fuel I can get 14L/100KM on a run and about 11 around town.
