I wonder if anyone knows what some of theses cars really were in Bathurst 1968
HK kingswood driven by Petraiia & Sullivan was it a 307 auto or manual or a 186?

And the VE Valiant was it a 273 V8 or a slant6, i know it was a auto.?

1969 Bathurst there was a XW GT auto, windsor or clevo. it did well for a auto.

1973 Bathurst a HQ Monaro 308 or 350 auto or manual? driven by Dickson & Stevens.

There was a 6cyl HK Kingswood in 1968 race, not sure which of the 4 x manual boxes it had. The number on the door should tell you what class it was in.

In 1973 that HQ Kingswood was a 308. Raced in 1974 as a 350, but it was an XV4. I don't know whether it was an M40 or M21 though, but the car is still around.

I'm not sure what the HK had for its engine/trans combo. The car was in class C which was for cars up to $3,000, which even a 307 Powerglide could qualify for. Cars were classified purely on price back then.

I'm pretty sure that the VE was a 273 V8 Torqueflite.

The XW GT had to be a 351W, the Clevos weren't out until well after the October race.

There was also an XT GT auto in the 1968 race.

I'm pretty sure that the Muirs/Dickson/Stevens HQ 4-door was a 308/M21 in 1973 & a 350/Muncie in 1974.
