hi gentlemen, my v6 vz has a coolant leak. it appears to be from the top/rear of the motor as there is a trail down the seam at the block/bellhousing joint on the left hand side but i cannot see the start of the trail. any ideas would be appreciated before i start pulling it apart blindly, there is a small amount of coolant at the heater valve but i cant see that this is leaking down the opposite side of the motor. thnx, krustee

ah ha, thats what I thought too in our WH, it turned out to be the heater core had shat it's self & the dump pipe for the A/C heater unit is directly above the bell housing. best way to test it have engine cover off while pressure testing the cooling system, or bypass heater core.
if it is your heater core the whole dash has to come out to get to the climate unit which houses the heater core, also repalce it with a copper unit not the alloy type.
