any tips on procedure to put the ej ute front back together, (nose panel first, or guards first.) and do I have to use a specific type of retractable or lap seatbelts I have to use to get a Vic. roadworthy?

Either order of assembly is OK. Really, whatever you're happy with.
As far as belts go for RWC, check the Vicroads website or discuss it with the guy doing your RWC.
To Vic guys that are in the game, is this true?
I seem to recall that if the car is totally standard, & manufactured prior to seat belts being an option, technically speaking, seat belts may not be required for RWC?
Personally, I would only ever utilise correctly installed inertia belts if going through the process of registration.

Not such a bad idea to do a search for the info, it took about 5 minutes to find this document: Vehicle Safety Information 21.
