Hello guys;

I recently purchased a BA MK2 XR6 and i have some questions, is there any reason my xr6 does not have the xr6 speedometer(as in xr in the revs and speed). Also how do i know if traction control is on or off, i heard it is always disabled if its lpg fitted(which it is). I ask that because it seems considerably hard to spin the wheels even on petrol when my old holden vy lumina done it much easier with the obvious less powerful engine. Thanks in advance for the help and nice informative forums by the way.

Thanks: 1 times
oh, to the best of my knowledge all the BA to BF XRs had the XR emblem in the dash. Are you 100% sure it's a genuine XR6 or that the dash hasn't been swapped over for a standard falcon one? Is it the silver XR6 that was on carsales recently? It had a standard dash in it too.

When the traction control is off there is an annoying orange light in the cluster. It also flashes when the TC is doing it's best to stop wheelspin.

The light is a picture of a wheel making a "rooster tail" the same as the graphic on the TC on off switch.

Disconnect one of your abs sensors and the ABS and TC lights should come on in your cluster.

I thought that only BF2's had XR in the cluster but I might be wrong. If you pull the cluster out it will have a sticker on the bottom, top or back stating what it came out of.
