Greetings All I need some assistance regarding a heater tap for a HK GTS Monaro 308 The guy restoring my Ford Landau Coupe is doing a concourse resto on a HK GTS He was supplied a fully restored heater tap for the car by the owner Unfortunately when he sets it up and opens the tap it does NOT open all the way. It opens but does not FULLY open! This restricts the water flow What has he done wrong? Is there something we are missing here? I Can post pics if it makes things easier As an aside, where can you get these heater taps redone and concourse. The owner has tried rare spares etc Thanks in advance George

I wouldn't worry too much about concourse as the HK never came out with a 308 so it never could be concourse. try Repco for an after market one. |

Yep, HK v8s were either 307 or 327. Can't help you with your problem though. |

Leave it shut & don't tell the judges it don't open fully. Whose gunna know? Bit of bluff is OK in concorse judging isn't it? Live on the edge. Win an award then fess up that your heater valve is NQR. That would set a cat amongst the pigeons!
