First I've heard of it being a 20th anniversary thing......
They were basically a dressed up V8 exec with FE2 suspension & 16" Walkinshaw wheels fitted, along with HSV seats, a few stickers, and silver lower sections. No performance or other mechanical mods were done over statndard. Really only worth as much as an SS, or at best, a HSV enhanced VS SS.
There's a lot more worthy VS HSV models out there on the market for far less than the asking price. You can get a good Senator for less than that - even a 215 stroker!

Mick.I think most "upgrade" models aren't really much more than stickers above standard,I still think it'll climb in price a fair bit...only time will tell.I do agree thou its not much of an upgrade really.Only problem I see with the later model holden is every second one is a HSV or HDT or SS or enhanced, its almost harder to buy a "normal" one!...lol |

To add to what Mick has said, AFAIK they were sold thru the Victorian dealer network only & less than 100 were built. They were priced less than a base SS in 1996, so they were an OK new car deal, but a collectable ??? Possibly not. They were really a 'Sales Package' along the lines of Vacationers, Equipes, Esteems, & Luminas etc.
It's the first I've heard of them being a 20th Anniversary thing as well.

Holden by Design ID tag, I worked at HBD in Elizabeth during the VZ series HBD cars are just option packaged cars and some only had a sunroof fitted or a spoiler and got a HBD tag in the engine bay. They used to have HBD sale brochures at the Holden dealers.
