help me track down my dad's car please!

g'day boys and girls
i know i know what im about to ask is a long shot but anyone may know of the location of my dad's of VK calais.i have seen it once in the past 15 years and it was driving the opposite way from me and my dad in peak hour traffic ,tryed to follow it but no luck.
my dad for the past 15 odd years has said almost every day, "
why did i sell that car? if i ever find it im going to buy it back"
so i was wondering if anyone has seen it
it was a white 1984 vk calais with 15x7 chevrot rims on it, it had the greeny blue interior.
the running gear was a 308 with red heads and behind it , it had a 4 speed gear box.
it was sold in Adelaide in i think 1998
i think the rego was USY 773 but im not sure on that one
any info is very help full.

I dont like your chances particually if you do not know the reg, it may have personalised plates now or be at sims metal, over 12 years is a long time and a lot of old commys didnt fare that well or were modified to death.
I live north of Adelaide and you can go weeks without seeing a VK let alone a calais on the road.
Good luck with that maybe put a photo up.

i got the rego today and the rego is correct, ill try and get a picture up soon,
i dont live with my dad anymore so its hard...
i would hate to think if it has gone to sims metal :( |

contact motor reg and ask if the number is available, if your lucky they might let you know if its still out there but they wont say who owns it.
