Hi All,
Just want to give some friendly consumer advise to all do not use Advanced Soda Blasting in Blacktown, Sydney for anything to do with restoring your car.
The story goes like this, i live and work in Hong Kong and in Jan 2010 i entrusted them to carry out a full resto of my 74 HQ Monaro GTS/4 after obtaining quotes and checking them out and so forth.
Not cheap at over $20 000 to do the lot and i would provide all parts needed to complete.
Long story short the workmanship and final quality of assembling i could of done better myself and im not a car handy guy at all, all the suspension was put on wrong, missing bolts, panels not lining up and dont want to start with the paint with wrong stripes, pitting in the paint and blisters.
I had a agreement for payback but in 3 months nothing from them so i enquired with fair trading, after there investigation they concluded that they dont have a license to do motor vehicle repairs and no money to pay me back.
Best they could resolve was a payback plan over 12 months.....
Anyway my problem but just a heads up.

ouch thats gotta hurt good luck trying to get money back they will only drag it out you will be lucky to see it it will probably cost you same amount to rectify their work

Advanced soda blasting doesnt sound like a resto place to me, you get what you pay for I guess.
