VN Transmission-slow to engage Drive.

Hi Guys,has anyone run into a VN Tranny, taking several Secs. to engage Drive once selected,its only just started and seems to be getting worse.Fluid level OK and selects Reverse OK. TIA.

how long does it take to select reverse??. generally, it means it on its way out.... |

yeah i would say its nearly stuffed.. could be a number of things, but seeing as VN's are worth about $500 these days it may not be worht messing with.
