Hi guys chasing any inofrmation I can get on the EFI V8 5.0litre produced for and up to the VT series one cars, including websites and tech data.
I am looking at this engine for a swap into my early Holden? or any better suggestions would be grateful

What exactly are you looking for?
If you are putting the engine in an earlier model vehicle, I'd suggest you wire it up to the earlier Delco 808 computer used in VN/VP comodores, then get a chip....depending on engine specs to suit the engine.

Hi Guys.

It's not only VT that needs a BCM, the VR/VS needs it for the same reason. But since your getting a chip made to suit your engine specs, most chip guys will remove the immobiliser requirement, that was you can use any VN - VT.
