Hi,

Thought I would share some pic's of my 71 HQ LS Monaro Coupe I bought in 1986 and finally decided to get the restoration happening.

Cheers

Mum's going to kill you for working on the rug!!!!

That is looking sweet!!

Was there much body work done on her or were you lucky enough to be able to spend on the shiney stuff instead?

Cheers
Brian

Hi Brian,

I was lucky as the body was quite good and also being garaged for a long period of time also helped. Just some rust in the rear lower quarter panels
(normal rust spot for these old gal's). Only need to replace the boot floor now to bring her back to full glory. Front end waiting to be finished off by the
panel beater.

Some quick stats

350 chev
Dual quad manifold
Dual 500 Thunder series carb's
Dual Nitro setup
Turbo 400 stage 2 shift kit
2500 stall converter
Ford 9 inch lsd disc 3.9 gears

Everthing else either refurbed or new.
