Beware of cheap low quality brake disc rotors.

I have had to recently throw out a new set of HQ disk brake rotors because of poor quality fitment - unknown brand bought from eBay. They needed to be shimmed out to fit the calipers on, my mechanic was not very happy with them. I had them on for about a month, then the bearings went both at once - strange? I asked him to replace them with regular ones - this is the first time he had heard of this, and defintiely a first for me.

With the proliferation of cheap imported parts be careful with quality, and purchase from reputible supplier or good Brand names if buying from ebay. Has anyone else had similar experiences,

cheers,

Scott
