I was wondering if anyone makes clear rear tail light lenses for the HQ sedan (not indicator)?
I saw some on ebay years ago that were genuine (in GM parts boxes), that were advertised as for the export model & used as reverse lights.
I was considering using a wagon rear bar & fitting a single sedan tail lamp housing mount & utilise it for reverse lamps. just a idea!
so any help would be great..

Hi, But it is the indicator section that would be clear on the export cars as this is the part that is the backup lamp. The stop/tail lamp is what flashes on the export cars and is red just like on our cars. I don't think you will find clear stop lenses as you would then need a red bulb.

Hi, I know what your saying, but I want to retain the HQ wagon tail light set up as is, but move the reverse function to the clear lenses in the modified wagon bar, it's just a mod I've been contemplating, I have seen HQ sedan bars used on wagons but I think they are overkill, the lenses I saw on ebay years ago, were basic rear lenses with no reflector, so Im guessing that they were the same as stop/tail, just clear?, I have no idea which country they were for otherwise Id be looking there...
thanks Kevin

you may also look at the side rear indicators, I had a HQ sedan that I removed the reflectors ,drilled holes in the base and mounted parker globes in them, very affective look at night.
