Today I had a look at a heap of NOS Holden (also some early Bedford, Ford, Toyota etc) parts. There is a fair few parts but in a big mess. Some Holden parts are still in original packaging, but many are not. When did Holden change packaging from the Yellow/Black boxes to blue/white and then red/white. May help to work out what is what. The owner wants to sell in a bulk lot - is there any real value in NOS from VB commodore to VS commodore? Thanks.

VB-VK stuff is getting good $$ - mainly the Brock restoration guys.
VL stuff goes absolutely crazy if it's a turbo-only part, or if it's a hard part to get and needed for a Group A resto.
VN-VS stuff doesn't seem to pull much unless it suits early HSVs.

Or you simply put "HDT, HSV, Brock, Turbo, Calais, BT1, HRT" in the description like every other clown on there when they're selling a 3.3L distributor cap, or a 14" VK hubcap.....
Cheers,

Mick

Many parts were produced for a number of years, so some HT parts can turn up in the later boxes.
