Hello anyone who owns a XR8 or XR6T,
I am currently looking into buying a BA XR__ and was wondering what they are like in terms of fuel consumption.
On the specs, there is minor difference b/ween the two cars, however I am inclined to think that the XR8 will drink more.
Could anyone let me know approx how much they spend on petrol for these two cars.
Cheers

I was given a brand new MkII 8 to put kays on and I used 4 tanks in 660 kms and I was being reasonably nice to it.It is a very tempting car to stand on though.

I use both XR8s and XR6T as NSW Highway Patrol cars on a daily basis. I do long, country kilometres, at all speeds, in all conditions. My opinion? The XR6T would make a beautiful, sporty family car, same with the XR8. Both are comfortable and relatively q

I'd say an XR6T if you after performance with daily driving and have modifications in mind. XR8's are running in the 12sec bracket now naturally aspriated. 11's is the best I've seen from a twin turbo one (a ute).
