Gday all,

This started a couple of days ago and I dont know whats going on. My battery is only a year old and the alternator was replaced about a year ago too. Yesterday my ZL Fairlane started to get sluggish on ignition and today it stalled at a set of lights and I couldnt start it again. The battery was clicking rapidly and seemed to be flat. I called roadside service and they jump started me, and tested the readings across the battery and alternator. They said they were fine and the alternator was doing its job. I drove home about 15 kms later and stopped out the front of the house. I turned my lights off and tried starting...the battery seems flat again. The terminals and cables were cleaned and checked/tightened by the roadside assistant, what else could it be and what else could I check.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers
Manny
