I have a HX 308 motor in my HJ. Will a HQ/HJ inlet manifold fit OK?

depends what heads are on it pre polution? red polution? or blue/black? how many bolts in middle?? 1 or 2? regards DD www.bellarineclassicautos.com.au

Sorry...... it's a red motor and has a single hole in the centre of each side. Both manifolds ( 1 x pollution and 1 x pre pollution) appear to have the same bolt pattern. The heads have the "U" shape port in the middle

HT-HJ or LH-mid LX manifold won't work on pollution red heads. Original HX-HZ, VB or late LX pollution manifolds are a piece of junk so you are better off buying a new LC 308253 manifold, it fits all heads and works well. |
