Hi, just purchased an XT Ute, Factory 302/C4 auto (yes an auto, plenty ow XW GS gear fitted aswell), apparently it has XA full front suspension, when looking in the engine bay there are small cut outs on the suspension towers where the ends of the upper control arms are. Is this common ? as I am only used to the XK-XP

as in the side of the towers, 2 round holes where it looks like you could put a socket threw and get to the control arm nuts? tho a socket doesnt fit lol

Hi, i think the holes you are talking about are to make it easier to get to the grease nipples, they were not there on earlier models.
