Guys
Still looking for GVW (gross vehicle weight) data to complete the first published version of my 'How to (try to) ID your Sandman' web page (it should probably read how to tell for sure it's not a Sandman!). I need GVW data for HJ and HX 6cylinder XX7 UTE in both Belmont and Kingswood versions. I'm also after the part number off the tyre placard on ANY HJ Sandman. The only HJ Sandman placards i've seen so far have had HQ ones fitted, plus the HJ parts manual only lists the non-Sandman part numbers.
The other thing that would be nice if anyone has any literature with photos or original photos of a late HZ Sandman (post march 1979) with the N67 14x6 alloy (SL/E) wheels fitted. The next best thing would be a HZ GTS with the same wheels.

I have a photo (from magazine) of the proposed (not sure it is real) WB Sandman Van which seems to have Commodore type mags on it. Is this what you after,

No, but it's even better! The WB Sandman was never built in the flesh, but a photo (ie scan) of a prototype would be great. Any chance? The wheels are actually 14" HZ SL/E Statesman and WB Statesman style (well to be truthful they are Gemini or UC SL/E st |
