recently looked at a au2 tickford , It had oil in the water bottle, diddnt appear to be red or pink, looked like black engine oil, 190000 km? What your thoughts on the problem with this car?

sounds like a head gasket gone. Means the head has to come off. It may need shaving or replacing. I'd be looking elsewhere unless the car is going very cheap as the repair bill could get pretty high.
