Put simply can a xy gt front be bolted to xw falcon or is the radiator support panel different. Thanks Ron

Yes you can if you use the XY front guards. The bonnet can stay but there are detail differences in the underside of the bonnets. The front bumpers are the same as is the panel between bumper and grille.
You can transform XW guards into XY ones, The headlights are closer together on XY's than they are on XW's so the mounts have to move. I seem to remember something about a minor difference where the indicators mount to the guards too.
There are really only two different radiator supports on XW/XY's the six cylinder/302 type and the 351 type with the bigger hole for the 351's bigger radiator.
Again fairly simple to make a 351 support out of the more common type. |

Thanks Jim as long as I dont have to change radiator support then I will start looking for XY guards grill & blinkers. Thanks again Ron

You will need XY bonnet latch support as well,cause the grill mounts on these are different as well.Only real difference in rad support is XW has 2 diagonal holes on both sides of rad support for the horns as XY were mounted on inner gaurd & compliance plate was on rad support on '69 & early "70 model XW's
