hi i read some where the first prototype 253 bloak and crank was made in the u.s, did holden at the time have a pattern making shop???

Well they'd managed to cast the grey & red motors, so I'd reckon that they would have been able to do the 253/308 'in house'

Mind you, you'd be crazy to ignore the vast eperience that GM had
with V8's. They started earlier than henry did. Not that the frod apologists like hearing that.........
