2003 VY commodore intermitent starting ???

My commodore has over the past 6 months has sometimes not started after a short trip.Car will wind over for about 5 seconds not start and then no power at all, and will stop cranking . Other times you go to start it and nothing , all idiot lights on but no cranking , turn the key back off and on a again and it will start. It always runs well not stalling or missing well serviced 135000 kms . Anyone got any ideas or had the same problem ?? Any help much appreciated . Thanks

Get a computer hooked up to it check fault codes, check battery and starter connection. also have the coil pack harness plug checked a mate had simular with a VT it was his harness plug to the coil un plugged it put it back and it would start!
